Plan a Visit

We are so glad you are thinking about coming

Visiting a new church for the first time can feel like a lot. We get it. Here is everything we think you would want to know ahead of Sunday, so when you walk in the door you can just focus on being present.

Five things to know before Sunday

No pressure, no dress code, and no cold stares

Here is what a normal Sunday morning actually looks like around here. We tried to answer the questions people ask us most often before they walk in for the first time. If anything is missing, just send us a note and we will fill in the blanks.

Our sanctuary is small enough to feel personal and large enough to find your own seat. Every Sunday looks a little different, and everyone is welcome, right where they are.

Honest expectations

What to expect and what not to expect

Every church is different. Here is a plain list of what you can count on from us on a Sunday, and a few things we promise we will not do to you as a first-time guest.

What to expect

  • A warm welcome at the door from a real person, not a script.
  • Songs you can sing along to, or just listen to, however fits.
  • A teaching from the Bible that takes about thirty minutes.
  • Safe, well-staffed environments for any kids who come with you.
  • A short prayer time, with no pressure to participate out loud.

What we will not do

  • Single you out as a visitor or ask you to stand up.
  • Pressure you to give money in the offering.
  • Ask you to sign up for anything on your first Sunday.
  • Make you feel awkward for dressing however you dressed.
  • Judge any questions you bring, however hard they are.
One more thing

Let us know you are coming

Totally optional, but if you fill out our short guest form we will have a quick welcome kit waiting at the door, and one of our team will say hi by name when you arrive.
